“The Milli Majlis (Parliament) has no information about the invitation of the Azerbaijani MPs to the meeting of the CIS Inter-Parliamentary Assembly held in Armenia,” the press service of the Milli Majlis told Trend.
MP Shahlar Asgarov, also chairman of the Parliamentary Commission on Education and Science, noted that he did not have any information in this regard. “I’m aware of the event planned in Armenia. However, if there was any invitation, the leadership of the parliament would inform us,” he said.
According to ARKA, the event will be staged from 5 to 7 October, where commissions on economy, finance, science and education will hold meetings.
