Reps of int’l org in Baku attentively observe over developments in Baku

The diplomatic missions of foreign countries accredited in Azerbaijan and the Baku offices of the international organizations are attentively observing the ongoing developments in Baku in connection with the return of ex-speaker Rasul Guliyev, the chairman of the ADP, to Azerbaijan. Igor Kizima, the charge d’affaires of Ukraine to Azerbaijan, told Trend a group of employees of the diplomatic missions of foreign countries accredited in Azerbaijan and the Baku offices of the international organizations was not allowed to enter the international airport where the airliner with the ADP leader is to land.

“The British embassy attentively observes over the developments in the country and will send its diplomats to the airport in the second half of the day,” the Baku-based diplomatic mission told Trend.

“The Norwegian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Steinar Gil, attentively observes over the last developments and for the time being he is unwilling to make premature statement, but will state its opinion later,” the Norwegian embassy in Baku told Trend.
