The Azerbaijani side has not applied to the Embassy of Ukraine to Azerbaijan with the request to facilitate delivery of the detained in Simferopol the chairman of the Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (DPA) Rasul Guliyev, the charge d’affaires of Ukraine in Azerbaijan Igor Kezima told Trend exclusively.
According to him, the issue is to be solved by Interpol and directly by the relevant bodies. It does not concern the Foreign Ministry and nobody applied to us, Kezima stressed.
Deputy Foreign Minister (FM) of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov, in his turn, told Trend, he is not aware of any consultations with the Ukrainian FM in regard to the arrest of Rasul Guliyev.
