The Milli Majlis (Parliament) continues discussion of the 10 bills including into the budget package for 2006, Trend reports. The first discussed bill concern injection of changes into the law on social insurance.
Hadi Rajabli, the chairman of the Milli Majlis Standing Commission on Social Policy, reported that the MPs considered injection of appropriate changes into articles 10, 14, 17, 18 and 21 of the document, which envisage social payments at the expense of the funds on social insurance by the State Fund for Social Security (SFSS).
Rajabli also said that the changes concerned issuing of benefits to working pensioners not in job place, but in ordinary order. “It will prevent difficulties in issuing of pensions related to financial problems of some enterprises and organizations,” he added.
Then the MPs brought up the bill on injection of changes into some legal acts for discussion. Ali Alirzayev, the deputy chairman of the Standing Commission on Economic Policy, reported about the changes in the 11 documents of the bill. MP Gulamhusseyn Alibayli spoke about the changes envisaged in the bill. Azerbaijani MPs continue discussion.
