Ali Insanov, the Azerbaijani Health Minister, was dismissed from his post on Thursday, Trend reports.
Insanov was born in Lembeli village of Armenia on 22 March 1946. In 1965 he entered the Azerbaijan State Medical University. In 1972 he graduated from the medical prophylactic faculty.
Insanov, who started his carrier at the Azerbaijani Scientific-Research Institute of Tuberculosis, worked as junior, then senior employee, head of the Department, Deputy Director on science section. In 1985 he took the post of the Director of the Institute.
In 1993 Insanov was appointed the Health Minister of Azerbaijan.
