Rumanian Prime-Minister’s visit to Azerbaijan due after parliamentary elections

“Popesku-Tarichanu, the Rumanian Prime-Minister, will pay a visit to Azerbaijan only after the parliamentary elections,” the Rumanian embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.

The Rumanian Minister intends to discuss the prospect of the trade-economic cooperation, further development of joint regional energy projects, increase of goods turnover between the two countries within the visit. It will come as the continuation of the dialogue started during the visit of the Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev, to Rumania.

During the visit Popesku-Tarichanu plans to meet with Artur rasizada, the Prime-Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, the Foreign Minister, and Ilham Aliyev, the President of Azerbaijan. The official opening of the building of the Rumanian embassy in Azerbaijan will also be held in this period.
