Ali Karimli, the chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP-reformers) including in the �Azadlig’ (Freedom) election bloc, held news conference dedicated to the rally on Sunday, Trend reports. He said that around 100 oppositionists participated in the action were arrested.
According to Karimli, despite the attempts aimed at prevention of the action, the rally of the bloc took place.
It should be mentioned that Yashar Aliyev, the deputy chief of the Baku citty Central Police Department, noted that about 150 people participated in the unsanctioned action, while 15 of them were arrested by the police without use of force.
