The Georgian president Michail Saakashvili called on 24 October to the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Trend reports citing the press service of the Azerbaijan’s President.
During the telephone talk the sides voiced satisfaction by the development of relations in political, economic, cultural and other fields. Saakashvili got interested in the processes taking place in Azerbaijan lately. The Azerbaijani President informed his Georgian counterpart on the resolute measures being taken towards democratization of the society, averting of unlawful criminal actions against the state.
The Presidents expressed confidence in further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia.
