The number of candidates running up for the parliamentary elections on 6 November is reducing. According to the latest data for 26 October, 235 candidates recalled their candidacies till now, the Central Election Committee (CEC) of Azerbaijan told Trend.
Thus, by the latest data, 1822 candidates are taking part currently in the elections. It should be noted during the registration period totally 2063 candidates were registered. Only 6 of them have been removed by CEC, however the candidacy of Hadjiaga Nuri from the Sabunchi third constituency N28 has been restored. On the whole, from 2063 candidates registered, 241 persons abandoned the election process.
