“The Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP) punished those, who did not take the
decision of the party and balloted as independent candidate,” Hassan Karimov, the chairman of the PFAP, told Trend.
According to Karimov, the number of independent candidates at the PFAP did not exceed three men and the leadership of the party set concrete date for them to determine their position. “The term was up the PFAP excluded them from the party. Such event happened in Sumgayit and Aghsu,” he stressed.
Several days ago the similar event took place at Musavat and some well-known people were excluded from the party due to their refusal to recall candidacy. One of the co-constitutors of �Azadlig’ bloc welcomed the decision of Musavat and stated that he waits for similar step from he PFAP as well.
