The US National Democracy Institute (NDI) has been given an official permit to take part in monitoring of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Elmar Mammadyarov said, responding to the question of the Trend correspondent.
В"I signed personally the relevant invitation which has been sent to the NDI address. There are no limitations in their involvement in the elections’ monitoring’, the head of the Azerbaijan’s foreign relations department said, noting that according to the information available, the NDI representatives will send their delegation to Baku, however, the exact number of observers is not known yet.
