Election Monitoring Center publicizes 2nd report
The Election Monitoring Center (EMC) publicized the second report on holding of the pre-election campaign. The Center carried out monitoring in 12 regions, which covered most constitutes, Trend reports.
The document says that the Center recorded 12 cases of abuse during the pre-election campaign. Administrative resources were used 21 times and representatives of state bodies interfered in the election 14 times. The EMC received information about 17 violations of elections committees and registered 28 facts on putting of pressure on candidates. The Center considers that the 25 October 2005 presidential decree on urgent measures in relation to preparation and holding of the parliamentary elections will have positive impact on the course of the elections.
