Next round of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of the CIS member-countries will be held in Dushanbe on Thursday and Friday (17-18 November), the CIS Executive Committee told Trend.
The consultations titled “Interaction of CIS counties in the resolution of labor migration” will center on draft Convention on legal status of labor migrants and their family members, expansion of relationships in the resolution of social issues, establishment of common labor market in CIS counties, professional re-orientation of the population and psychological support, creation of normative base in sphere of labor in CIS counties in 2005-2009.
The participants in the gathering will consider an agreement on pension provision of the citizens of CIS countries, resolve the problems of the disabled, migration issues, provision of transparency between legislation and practice in this sphere, efficiency and civil migration process, unification of the legislation of CIS counties with the international standards. The gathering will also focus on perspectives of cooperation in fighting wit illegal, migration and human trafficking.
Experts of the Foreign Ministry will represent Azerbaijan in the consultations, the Foreign Ministry said.
