The Azerbaijani-Pakistani intergovernmental commission is panning to hold a meeting in February 2006, the diplomatic sources told Trend.
Under the meeting it is planned to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation, in particular, in the economic sector, as well as the opportunities for increase of goods turnover to $100-200m, as the sides were charged during the official visits of the heads of state to Baku and Islamabad. The commission will also center on the organization of mutual visits of businessmen for establishment of closer economic relationships.
Yagib Eyyubov, the Azerbaijani First Deputy Premier, is co-chair of the commission on the part of Azerbaijan.
