Fire at unit did not affect EP-300 factory operation

Specially established commission carries out works on evaluation of the size of the damage, inflicted at the result of the fire on 23 November at the EP-300 factory, a part of the Azerkimya state concern. The commission is investigating to disclose the facts which caused the fire, the factory told Trend.

The state structure noted the fire has not influenced the operation of the EP-300 factory. В"Operation of the unit N1 is currently suspended, where the fire broke out”, the factory stressed. They think repair works will cover 2 weeks.

As for the naphta used as the fuel for the units, they continue buying naphta as usual.

According to the Interior Ministry chief department on fire safety the fire broke out on 23 November on the area of 100 square meters at the result of the motor fuel spillage.
