Deputy chairman of the State Committee on female problems of Azerbaijan Mominat Omarova has been elected deputy head of the Council of Europe Committee on gender equality (CDEG), Trend reports.
The decision has been taken during the 33-d CDEG session in Strasburg, where the details of the resolution to be debated in July 2006 at the 6-th conference of the Council of Europe in Switzerland were discussed.
