Shahin Diniyev is appointed chief coach of the Azerbaijani national football team. The decision was made at the special meeting of the Executive Committee of the Association.
Ramiz Mirzayev, the President of AFFA, underlined that the organization decided to trust the team to the local specialist to raise the level of the team and the football-players. The President of the Association admitted that the Executive Committee analyzed the work of all coaches and chose Diniyev. “Certainly, it is impossible to form the team able to rival with world champions. Therefore, we give time to the coach to establish effective team, which will be able to demonstrate its potential in the future,” Mirzayev underlined.
