Leading oppositionist decides to refuse from MP mandate

The leader of the National Unity Movement, Lala Shovkat, who was successful at the 6 November parliamentary elections, has decided to refuse from the MP mandate, Trend reports.

Following the announcement Shovkat told jotnaiusts on Friday that she does not recognize the results of the parliamentary elections and refuses from the MP mandate.

She also noted that the National Unity Movement wil not partcipate in the repeated parliemntary elections, where the results were annulled.
