Co-chairmen of the Social Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (SDPA) Ayaz Mutallibov and Araz Alizade will take part in the next sitting of the Social International (SI) to take place in late January in Athens (Greece), Alizade told Trend.
According to him, the issue of electing the SI new chairman will be discussed at the sitting. By some observations the biggest chances for this position has the former Greek Foreign Minister Georgius Papandreu, Alizade was quoted as saying.
The chairman of the SDPA female organization Rena Djavadova will also take part in the sitting.
The chairman of the Social International is the former Portugal Prime Minister Antonio Guttieres.
