In January to November the production of the agrarian sector in the current prices comprised 8.12trln manats, or 14.8% up as compared to last year. The growth pace turned out 14.8% up as compared to 2004.

As of 1 December harvesting of some products was complete. The collection of grains, including corns, made up 2.13 million tons. Despite the harvesting from 1 hectare turned out 1.7 centric tons, it was yielded the last year figure 1,800 tons. Major reason for cut was fall in areas sown under grains and beans and loss of some part of areas. The highest harvesting rate was fixed in Jalilabad District (123,600 tons) and Shaki (109,500 tons).

Intensive cotton harvesting continued in November. As of 5 December the cotton refining enterprises handed in 192,500 tons of cotton, or 41.9% more than 2004, which is explained with the expansion of sown area.

The fruit production exceeded the highest record of 2003 6.3% and comprised 608,200 tons.
