The SOCINTERN Secretary General Louis Ayala may come to Azerbaijan before the by-elections on 13 May 2006, the co-chairman of the Social Democratic Party of Azerbaijan (SDPA), the organizations member, Araz Alizade told Trend.
Ayla planned to arrive in Azerbaijan till late December and meet with the head of the state. However, due to some objective and subjective reasons the visit failed. Aylas address to relevant bodies of Azerbaijan over the involvement in the 6 November 2005 parliamentary elections as the observer remained without any response. В"In case the issue is solved this time, Louis Ayala will be able to take part in by-elections, Alizade said.
The SDPA co-chairman noted that the SOCINTERN Secretary General during his meeting with the head of the Azerbaijan state will discuss the issue of returning home of the other SDPA co-chairman Ayaz Mutallibov, who is currently residing in Moscow.
