Azerbaijan has transferred it annual membership to the 2006 UN budget in the amount a bit more than $85,000, Trend reports.
By mid-January only 19 countries UN members transferred their fees to the budget organizations. They are Azerbaijan, Belorus and Latvia. UN financial rules require the fees for this year to be paid by 31 January.
The scale of payment of fees is based on a principle of solvency. If a country has a successful economy, the amount of fees to UN budget increases.
