The test exam on admission to diplomatic service to the Azerbaijani Foreign Affairs Ministry (FAM) is scheduled for 26 February, Alimirnazim Asgarov, the head of the Department of FAM, also Executive Secretary of the Admission Commission, said to a brifing, Trend reports.
According to Asgarov, the admission is carried out in accordance with the Presidents decree on rules of admission to the state service in the state bodies. The people interested in the competition are due to present their documents to the Ministry. Azerbaijani citizens with high education, knowledge of foreign languages and international economic relations can participate in the competition.
The documents are accepted by the Azerbaijani FAM and the Department of FAM in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (AR) from 23 January to 15 February. The competition consisted of three stages is organized by the Azerbaijani State Commission on Student Admission.
Asgarov said that the rules of admission changed, as in 2006 age requirement would be 28 against 27 in 2005. The pass mark will comprise 80 points. The entrants are to answer 120 questions on different categories. The exam will be in three stages - test, essay and interview.
Elmar Mammadyarov, the Foreign Minister, is the chairman of the examining board.
