The well-known lawyer Aslan Ismaylov will not take part in the parliamentary by-elections on 13 May 2006, Ismaylov told Trend.
Ismalov ran up for the 6 November 2005 parliamentary elections from the Second Narimanov consitituency в"- 20. Having lost the elections he made a decision not to participate in by-elections on 13 May 2006.
В"I will not take part in the elections. I have already understood, the politics is not for me, Ismaylov stressed.
