The deputy chairman of the Russian government, the Russian Defense Minister, Sergey Ivanov, will tour the Darial (Gabala) Radar Station on 25 January under his 3-day official visit to Azerbaijan, the Russian Defense Ministry told Trend.
The talks in Baku, which is due to start on Monday (23 January), will center on the perspectives of the Russian-Azerbaijani military, as well as the military-technical cooperation, fighting with the international terror.
After the talks with the Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev, Ivanov is scheduled to hold meetings with the Azerbaijani Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and President Ilham Aliyev .
The Russian Defense Ministry announced that Ivanov visit Yerevan on 25 January to meet with the Armenian President Robert Kocharian, Prime Minister Markarian and Defense Minister Serzh Sarkisian. Under the visit to Ivanov will tour Gumri to review the facilities of Russian armed base 102 dislocated in this area.
