Changes were introduced into PACE winter session agenda at Organization's Bureau sitting
The issue of the recent parliamentary elections results in Azerbaijan will be introduced into the winter session agenda of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). The decision has been taken today at the PACE Bureau sitting which preceded the session opening, the leader the Russias delegation, the head of the Committee on international affairs of the Russian Federation Duma Konstantin Kosachev said, Trend reports.
It will be debates without adopting any document.
The opinions in Bureau are divided on the issue of the proposed deprivation of powers of the Azerbaijan delegation to PACE, he said.
Attempts to include debating on the Russian-Ukrainian disputes on the gas deliveries was not backed by the PACE Bureau, Kochachev noted. According to him, the issue in the energy security broader context will be the subject of the separate report on the use of the energy supplies as the political pressure tool, to be prepared by the Political commission.
