Automatic system to be set on Baku highways

Automatic system will be set on the Baku highways soon, Vagif Assadov, the head of the Propaganda and Agitation Division of the State Traffic Police of Baku city, told Trend.

Israeli Company Орад ЭРОУП and the State Traffic Department of the Azerbaijani Republic signed a contract on purchase of necessary equipment for transmission to automatic traffic control system in the capital city.

The system is produced by Сиеменс Company.

The system includes over 100 devices for control over mark РЎ 800, equipment for monitoring and information transfer.

At first stage the devices will be installed in the central streets of the capital.
