The acting chairman of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the head of the Belgian Foreign Ministry Karel de Gucht will arrive in Azerbaijan on 25 January 2006 at 13.00 p.m. local time in the framework of the regional visit, the head of the OSCE Baku office Ulvi Ahundlu told Trend.
During the one day visit meetings with the countrys leadership will take place during which the issues of the development of relations between Azerbaijan and OSCE will be discussed.
В"Preparation to the visit has been performed by the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Brussels jointly with the OSCE central office in Vienna. The OSCE Baku office has not been involved immediately in the visits program developing, Ahundlu noted.
The agenda of the visit envisages meetings with the Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, the head of the Nagorny Karabakh Azerbaijani community Nizami Bahmanov, as well as president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. Karel de Gucht plans to hold news conference at the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry.
On the same day de Gucht will flow off to Erevan from Baku.
