The meeting dedicated to the present state of affairs and development of the road traffic and transport in Baku took place today at the presidential palace chaired by the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. The president, addressing the meeting, along with the measures on the development of the transport system in the country, noted, in particular, also the negative facts, in particular, the problems, caused by the road traffic in Baku, Trend reports.
The head of the state gave relevant instructions to the Transport Ministry and the Baku city executive authorities for removal of problems in the capital city. He noted the need to consolidate efforts for taking respective program. In the view of the head of the state, one of the priorities is establishing new road infrastructure and repair of the existing highways.
The Transport Minister of Azerbaijan Ziya Mamadov informed of the measures carried out in the road traffic regulating in Baku. The head of the Baku executive power Hadjibala Abutalibov said about measures on removal of transport problems in the city. The Interior Minister Ramil Usubov informed of the measures on regulating the road traffic.
In conclusion the president gave instructions to relevant responsible persons for complex resolving the problem, noting special decree will be signed by him.
