Our Azerbaijan block will elect new chairman at a next meeting to be held on 4 February, Tahir Abbasly, the chairman of the block, also leader of the Islamic Democratic Party (IDP), told Trend.
In accordance with new regulations, chairmanship is taken by rotation. The term of the chairmanship of the leader of IDP was over in January. Valeh Mirzayev, the chairman of the National Liberation Party, presided at the block in December.
Abbasly also said that Musavat Party and other parties were expelled from the block. In accordance with the regulations, the party, missed 5 sittings of the block, is automatically expelled from the block. Musavat Party and other parties closely connected with it are expelled, as they come out from this position, he added.
