Unfortunately, the judges misappropriate their office duties making unfair sentences and remaining difference towards the citizens problems. A number of complaints have been submitted in this respect. In accordance with the statistics, sentences by every third court of appeal are grounded. In this respect several judges were made answerable, Mammadov underscored.
He also noted that in some cases the judges demonstate indifferece towards the citizens and red-tape. Only in 2005 over 4,000 complaints have followed on the judges activities.
