Zakir Garalov proposed prosecutor's office officials to study at High School of Justice

The Prosecutor General of the Azerbaijan Republic Zakir Garalov proposed the prosecutors office officials to take advantage of studying at the High School of Justice. This proposal has been voiced by the Prosecutor General at the enlarged sitting of the Judicial Council on 2 February, Trend reports.

Garalov said, studying at the High School of Justice both for prosecutors office and court officials would facilitate their improvement in acquiring knowledge in law. В"We used to carry out training processes for the workers employed at the Prosecutors office training centre; it would be better if the process held at the High School of Justice for the workers to be really worthy of their positions according to their professional qualities, Garalov siad

В"Today there are serious problems in training of professional lawyers. The High School of Justice will be able to prevent a major part of these problems, Garalov said.

Another proposal of the Prosecutor General is related to the establishing of the Methodical Centre, attached to the Judicial Council and the Supreme Court. В"It will facilitate studying the case law of the European Court on Human Rights. Innumerous complaints from our citizens come to this court. It would be good if methodical centers are established and judgements pronounced on the complaints after translation in these centers would be sent to relevant courts.

The Prosecutor General touched also upon in his speech serious shortcomings and errors in court bodies, mentioning the corruption cases.
