Following the decision of the Musavat party on leaving the post of co-founder of Azadlyg bloc, the biggest opposition alliance, leaders of the bloc will meet at the headquarters of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) on Friday at 18.00, Hureddin Ismayilov, the spokesman for the ADP, told Trend.
Ismayilov announced that the meeting of leaders will discuss further activities of Azadlyg bloc. Decision on the fate of the bloc will be taken today [Friday], he added, not excluding possible consideration of the issue on expansion of the bloc in future.
Attending the meeting will be Ali Karimli, the chairman of the Popular Front of Azerbaijan Party (PFAP, reformers) and the first deputy chairman of the ADP, Lala Shovkat Hajiyeva, the leader of the National Unity Movement, and Ali Aliyev, the chairman of the National Independence Party.
