The statement by Musavat party on leaving Azadlig (Freedom) block reagarded as advance decision by other parties. Sardar Jalaloglu, the 1st deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, told Trend that Musavat Party made a decision beforehand not waiting for expelling from the block. We used to state about unwillingness to be presented together with Musavat in one party. In any case, nobody cooperate with this party, Jalaloglu underlined.
Musavat explained the decision on leaving the block with offensive campaign against PFAP and ADP. Jalaloglu named this argument baseless. Making decision on attending the Milli Majlis [Parliament], Musavat offended the electorate of Azadlig block. We have no anything offensive in regard to them. Musavat took wrong step and we gave political appreciation to this. Own representative of Musavat put forward harder accusations, he added.
Jalaloglu stressed that the decision by Musavat on participation in the work of the Milli Majlis and the by-elections were strike to the party itself, as well the common interests of the opposition. He noted that split-up occurred event in Musavat itself. We have to leave the party aside in order to save the electorate, believing in us, the people dissatisfied with Musavat, Jalaloglu underlined.
Touching upon the ideas of the former ally, Isa Gambar, the head of Musavat Party, told Trend that he explained the reasons for decision in the statement. He underlined that he would express attitude to thoughts of the opposite side. Let them to tell what they want, Gambar stressed.
