Sitting of the Azerbaijan Central Election Committee (CEC) has been held today. Composition of the constituency election commissions (CC) on 10 constituencies in which by-elections are planned has been formed at the sitting, Trendreports.
It should be noted, each CC is structured by 9 people. 7 members from each CC have been formed and remaining 3 members will be approved after by-elections to the Parliament.
CEC deputy chairman Svetlana Gasimova informed of 3 members from each CC of 10 constituencies. After voting her proposal has been accepted.
CEC secretary Natik Mamadov reported on the New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) candidates to CC. Per 2 persons have been suggested to CC from each of 10 constituencies. After the voting the proposal has been adopted.
CEC members Tamam Djafarova and Rovshan Ismaylov informed of the candidates from the parties representing the parliamentarian minority. Per 2 persons for each CC on 10 constituencies have been proposed. Thus, CEC approved 7 CC members on 10 constituencies.
CEC approved also protocols of its sittings from 19, 24, 30 January 2005 and 4 February 2006.
