The visit of the Russias Foreign Ministry experts for preparations of the details of the forthcoming visit of the Russian Federations president Vladimir Putin to Azerbaijan is scheduled to Baku this week, the councilor - envoy of the Azerbaijan Embassy to Russia Bahish Zeynalov told Trend.
The Putins visit will take place on 21 February, he said. And prior to it, the working group at the level of the Russian Federation governmental experts will coordinate the working schedule of the president and the documents, he noted. The visit of Putin is related to the opening of the Year of Russia in Azerbaijan. The sitting of the bilateral inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation, business-forum and cultural events are also timed to the visit.
The newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Russia Polad Byul-Byul ogli, now in Baku, is engaged in issues of preparations for such a large-scale event, the diplomat said.
According to Zeynalov, the Ambassador will hand over his credentials to president Putin soon. On the whole, the Russian media displays a large interest to the appointment of Polad Byul-Byul ogli as Ambassador.
According to the diplomat, appointment of the new Russias Ambassador to Azerbaijan is also actual today, as before. The Russian side is interested in the soonest solution of the issue, however, no official information so far, he said.
