By the end of the year three medical diagnosis centers will be put into exploitation in Azerbaijan, Oktai Shiraliyev, the Health Minister, stated on Friday to a conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Aziz Aliyev Institute of Doctors Improvement, Trend report.
According to Shiraliyev, at present the construction of 20 medical institutes in the regions is underway, while half of them is to be commissioned by late 2006.
Besides, it is planned to restore and build similar institutions outskirts Baku. All work is scheduled to complete by late 2006, or early 2007.
The minister noted the last reforms in the sphere of health. Only over the last 3 years the funds approved out of the public budget for the health sector, increased 2.8 times, the doctors salaries were raised, the minister underlined.
