A new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Azerbaijan is appointed, the French Embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
This is Bernard Amodric Deue Shafot. The diplomat is expected to arrive in Baku in late February or in early March.
He will replace Roland Blatmann on this post, who has accomplished his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan in early February ahead of time due to retiring on a pension. Roland Blatmann had been fulfilling his mission in Azerbaijan since June 2004.
