CEC forms composition of 12 constituency commissions

The next meeting of the Central Election Committee (CEC) was held on Wednesday. The meeting approved protocols of meetings from 7 to 10 February 2006, as well as formed compositions of some constituency commissions, Trend reports.

The composition of 12 constituency commissions was formed on the base of recommendations by Svetlana Gasimova, the deputy chairman of CEC, Natig Mammadov, the secretary of CEC, Rovshan Ismayilov and Tamam Jafarova, members of commissions. The composition of every constituency commissions 17, 20, 30, 45, 51, 54, 59, 78, 85, 86, 97 and 116 includes 7 members (3 representatives of ruling party, 2 independent MPs, 2 representatives of the parties in minority at Parliament).

Thus, the number of the newly-formed commissions comprised 22.

At the end of the meeting Ilham Mammadov, a member of CEC, gave information on received addresses.
