Arif Mammadov, the Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belgium, met with Javad Derekhti, the chairman of the Congress of World Azerbaijanis (CWA), his deputy and other members of the organization. CWA held an event World Azerbaijanis say no to terrorism, genocide in Brussels on Friday, Trend reports. The heads of CWA, arrived in Brussels, held a meeting wtith Azerbaijani Ambassador to Belgium in this regard.
Mammadov reported on the activities of the Azerbaijani embassy, the relations with international organizations in Belgium, agitation of the Armenian Diaspora against Azerbaijan in Europe. The Ambassador also touched upon the organizing work by the Azerbaijani Diaspora.
During the conversation the sides held exchange of opinions on strengthening of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Belgium, development of the relations with CWA, spreading of historic books about Azerbaijan in Europe through their translation into English and French, solution of legal issues of erection of monument in Belgium at the initiative of CWA.
