Araz Alizade, the co-chairman of the Azerbaijan Social Democratic Party (ASDP), is probable not to run for the by-elections to parliament to be held on 13 May 2006, Trend reports.
Alizade nominated his candidacy from Sumgayit-Absheron constituency 44.
I submitted my documents to constituency commission on 24 February, my signature lists are ready, the co-chairman of ASDP said. He thinks over the issue.
Alizade stressed that the issue of participation in the re-run elections would be discussed at the central committee of the party.
