The volleyball players of AzerRail lacked experience to gain a victory over Foppapedritti and reach the final, Faig Garayev, the chief coach of the team, stated at a news conference on the results of the competitions in the Champions League, Trend reports.
Garayev noted that Natalya Mammadova was the leader of the club, who became the best striker of the European Cup. According to Garayev, the player has not demonstrated her talent fully and she is able to play better. Perhaps, Mammadova needs of support of such experienced volleyball players as Yelena Shabovta and Alla Hassanova, but our forward has achieved considerable progress in the play, he stressed.
The specialist also noted that he did not strengthen the team especially on the eve of the quarter final of League, taking into consideration the forthcoming competitions of the national team. We would be able to acquire strong volleyball players from abroad, but local players would lose their competition practice, Garayev stressed. The same time he said that it would be easy for AzerRail to play in the forthcoming plays for European Cup, as volleyball players will be tied after the world championship.
