Рђzerbaijan has a large intellectual potential in many fields, including science, education and other spheres, the general director of the World Organization on Intellectual Property (WOIP) Kamil Idris said in a statement at the meeting with the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry head Elmar Mammadyarov, the press centre of the Ministry told Trend.
Speaking of the activities of the organization he heads, Kamil Idris compared the significance of the humans intellect development with the highest values and wealth and noted the inexhaustibleness of the human intellectual capacities. Idris appreciated highly signing of the Program of cooperation between Azerbaijan and WOIP.
The Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has brought to the notice of his interlocutor the fact that non-settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorny Karabakh impacts negatively the development of many fields, including education.
Having underlined that 20 per cent of the Azerbaijani lands are occupied at the result of this conflict, about 1 million people became refugees and internally displaced people, the Minister informed the guest in detail of the talks held aimed at peaceful settlement of the problem.
