Azerbaijan has faced with a serious problem like bird flu, MP Asim Mollazade, the chairman of the Democratic Reforms Party, stated in a parliamentary sitting.

The bird flu does not pass from man to man. MP also noted the absence of any laboratory in Azerbaijan which could detect the virus. The Laboratory which can reveal the virus in birds is

in Istanbul, while the laboratory which defines H1N5 virus dangerous due to easy transition from man to man is located in London, Mollazade underscored.

A number of people with bird flu suspicion appealed to the Azerbaijani clinics. It is impossible even to define whether the patients are really diseased with bird flu. We have faced with a serious danger and it is necessary to set up discussions at the parliament in connection with this evil, he stressed. The Ministers for Agriculture, Health, and Ecology and Natural Resources are also to be in attendance, he added.
