Azerbaijan, Turkey sign a protocol on co-op in prevention of emergencies
The Ministries of Emergencies of Azerbaijan and Turkey will sign a protocol on cooperation, Trend reports in reference to the Turkish media. The agreement has been achieved in a meeting of the Ministers for Emergencies of Azerbaijan and Turkey, Kamaladdin Heydarov and Mehmet Ali Shahin.
During the meeting Shahin noted that the bilateral relationships between the countries were in high level and Ankara was keen on developing the cooperation in the sphere of prevention of the emergencies.
The Turkish State Minister noted that late April- early May 2006 he will arrive in Azerbaijan with regard to ink protocol on cooperation.
Heydarov appreciated the steps taken by Turkey to prevent the emergencies within the country, as well as in the international arena and noted Azerbaijans interests in study of Turkish experience.
