Abbas Abbasov, the Azerbaijani First Vice-Primer, plans to meet with Victor Ushenko, the Ukrainian President, on Saturday. Abbasov is on visit to Ukraine in relation to the preparations for the 7th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian commission on economic cooperation.
The sides continued negotiations in Kiev on Friday, Trend reports quoting Abbasov. He has already held some bilateral meetings with Yuriy Yekhanurov, the Ukrainian Primer, Stanislav Stashevsky, the Ukrainian First Vice-Primer, also a co-chair of the Azerbaijani-Ukrainian intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation, Anatoly Kinakh, the Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council.
According to Abbasov, at the meeting with the Ukrainian Primer he discussed some issues and considered the protocol of the joint commission.
There are some moments, which is due be entrusted to experts in order they will conduct research and report to the co-chairs of the intergovernmental commission. The Ukrainian Primer and I determined some issues, which awakes interest of the both countries, he added.
I suppose to hold a meeting with Ushenko on Saturday at 15:00pm, Abbasov stressed.
