The next conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (PA CIS) is planned in Saint Petersburg for 27 April, Trend reports quoting Aydin Jafarov, the Azerbaijani delegate to PA CIS.
It should be mentioned that the conference will discuss legislative ensuring of the social security of the victims of the Chernobyl incident. The decision on holding of the next conference was made in the meeting of PA CIS in Kiev on 10 February.
Jafarov noted that the meeting of PA CIS approved drawing-up of laws on the incident at Chernobyl Nuclear Power Station. The CIS countries plan to hold events in this regard. The next event of PA CIS will consider the issue in overhaul aspect, he stressed.
