Imam Khomeini Rescue committee to render assistance to low-income families
On 17 March 130-ton humanitarian assistance of the Imam Khomeini Rescue Committee arrived in Baku. Afshar Suleymani, the Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan, said that the cargo comprised of 7 big-tonnage machines is worth to $300,000.
The assistance is comprised of 35,000 tons of vegetable oil, 40 tons of macaroni, 40 tons of rice, 30,000 of СЃС'РёСЂР°Р"СЊРЅС‹С... powder and 1 ton of medicine. The assistance will be distributed in different parts of the country among refugees and internally displaced people, low-income families, shehid families and disabled.
The action is part of assistance rendered by the Rescue Committee to Azerbaijan. The last assistance was rendered 3 months ago. Suleymani noted that along with the humanitarian assistance Imam Khomeini Committee also assists in the development of entrepreneurship through approval of small business-grants.
