Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, sent a congratulatory letter to Alexander Lukashenko on election to the post of the Belarusian President, Trend reports.
In his letter, Aliyev expressed assurance in further strengthening and expansion of the friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
The Azerbaijani President wished health, happiness and successes in the state activities to his Belarusian counterpart.
