2006 will be a significant year in connection with the visits of senior state and government officials of China, Chian Khaikhjou, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China to Azerbaijan, told Trend.
This year senior officials of the Chinese Council of State plan to visit Azerbaijan, while mutual visits of the chairs of legislative bodies, as well as the heads and members of the parliamentary groups are also on agenda. Shortly, it Azerbaijani Minister for Communications and Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov, is scheduled to pay a visit to China, the diplomat underlined.
The plans also include conduct of consultations between the Foreign Ministries of Azerbaijan and China. The embassy has set up organization of visits.
